Calciumascorbate is suitable for people who do not tolerate the acidic ascorbic acid. Calciumascorbate has a neutral pH and shows virtually no stomach intestinal complaints. In case of high intake, it is best to use a deacidified form with a buffered form of vitamin C. Vitamin C supports the immune system and helps protect cells against oxidative damage.
