Krill (plankton, Euphasia superba) are small shrimp-like bugs that are trapped in the pure South Pole waters and is the main food of whales. The capsules are 100% pure krill oil and are free of harmful quantities of mercury, heavy metals, PCB, dioxins and transfats, because the krill is at the bottom of the food chain and have a short life.
