According to experts no less than 80% of the Dutch population, especially in winter, have a vitamin D deficit. Vitamin D is created by the skin under the influence of sunlight: so if we wear clothes, sun cream, a dark tinted skin in spring, autumn and winter when the sun is not powerful enough. The Health Council recommends a daily supplement with a D3 supplement. Vitamin D3 plays an important role in the bone formation (children/elderly), the immune system(Resistance) and the nervous system(movement/ reaction).
