The adukiboon is a red-brown bean which are smaller and less elongated than the kidney bean. The taste of aduki beans is sweeter than that of other pulses. Adukibonen are rich in proteins and fibers. Also they also contain vitamin B, zinc, iron and manganese. In Asiaë be the adukibonen as eaten as a snack or they are skinned and grinding to a paste. This pasta is processed in desserts.
