Acidophilus Extra 10 30vcap from Lamberts is one of the most powerful probiotics. Each capsule contains 10 billion good bacteria (at the time of producing), making 1 capsule per day is already sufficient. Each capsule contains: Lactobacillus acidophilus La5 10-109 (10 trillion live bacteria) and Bifidobacterium bifidum Bb12. The preparation is also milk free. The bacteria are freeze-dried and surrounded by an acid stable polysaccharides matrix, which they need to be protected against the high acidic conditions in the stomach. This special matrix increases the chance of survival in the stomach with the factor 50.
